Terms of Service
The rules for using Botley to record, publish, sell, and manage online course content.
Using Botley
Botley is a course recording, editing, publishing, and selling tool for creators and learners.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you upload, publish, or sell.
Creator content
You retain ownership of your slides, recordings, course materials, landing page copy, attachments, and related content.
You grant Botley permission to host, process, transcode, display, and deliver that content as needed to provide the service.
You must not upload content that infringes rights, violates law, contains malware, or harms others.
Course sales and access
Creators choose course pricing and payment providers where available.
Botley uses payment status to grant, deny, or revoke learner access. Creators are responsible for taxes, refunds, and compliance obligations tied to their sales unless otherwise agreed.
Learners receive access according to the offer they purchased or enrolled in.
Subscriptions and credits
Paid plans, AI credits, export limits, watermarks, and feature access are controlled by the plan or offer shown at checkout.
Subscription changes, cancellation, and renewal behavior are handled through the billing flow available in the product.
Botley may change pricing or plan packaging for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
Availability and exports
Browser recording, WebRTC camera pairing, media processing, AI features, exports, and payment integrations depend on browser APIs and third-party services.
We work to keep Botley reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact export times, or compatibility with every browser, device, file, or network.
Acceptable use
Do not use Botley for illegal activity, abusive content, spam, attempts to bypass payment or access controls, reverse engineering, scraping, or attacks on the service.
We may suspend or remove accounts, courses, or access grants that violate these terms or create risk for Botley, creators, learners, or service providers.
Liability
Botley is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law.
We are not responsible for lost revenue, lost content caused by misuse, third-party outages, or indirect damages, except where the law does not allow that limitation.
